Rajasthan Council uproar over teen’s murder | Arab Post

The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday sparked an uproar in the Rajasthan state assembly over the killing of a teenager in Karauli district and demanded a statement from the government.

As soon as the House of Representatives met at 1.15 in the afternoon after the special address of Speaker Draupadi Mormo, Speaker C.P. Joshi took up the listed business.

At the same time, the BJP stormed the well.

The spokesperson said the opposition has the right to raise public issues but it must be done according to the rules. He said the house runs by the rules.

Joshi said he would use all his rights as president if anything was imposed on him by the opposition.

Opposition Leader Rajendra Rathore said the opposition MPs’ intention was not to disturb the House of Representatives, but they were disturbed by the Tudabhim (Karauli) incident.

Rathore demanded a statement from the state government on the issue. However, the spokesman refused the request, saying: “Not now.”

The body of the 18-year-old, who was allegedly kidnapped and attacked with acid before the murder, was found in a well in Karoli district on Thursday.

Leaders of the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party, including MP Kerudi Lal Meena, are sitting on the udder there.
